Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan has promised fans her first movie sex scene won’t be too gratuitous – she keeps her bra on. Lohan admits her mother Dina was horrified when she realised the 21-year-old would be simulating intercourse in the murder thriller I Know Who Killed Me. She says, “Did I go naked for it? No, I had a bra on. “I told my mom about it and she screamed. “I was actually so nervous but then I was fine. It’s weird.”

Lindsay Lohan quietly surrendered to Beverly Hills police Thursday to be formally booked on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and hit-and-run stemming from a car crash last May.

Lohan, 21, arrived at the station at 4:15 p.m. and was released on $30,000 bail about an hour later, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Web site. She was accompanied by her attorney, police say.

Lohan was booked now because she was only cited – but not formally arrested – at the time of the incident due to her injuries, Beverly Hills Police Sgt. Kelly Spedden tells PEOPLE.

A court date was set for Aug. 24 in Superior Court in Beverly Hills.

In the early morning hours of May 26, the actress crashed her 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL65 convertible. Earlier that evening she was spotted partying at Hollywood nightspot Les Deux.

Tests subsequently revealed that Lohan had cocaine and nearly twice the legal amount of alcohol in her system that morning, according to a source close to the investigation.

Police had also found “a usable amount” of cocaine inside her car.

Two days after her arrest, Lohan checked herself into rehab at the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, her second stint in rehab in less than a year.

On July 13, she completed a 45-day stay at the facility and began an intensive outpatient program, her rep confirmed. Part of Lohan’s extended treatment includes wearing an alcohol-detection bracelet on her left ankle, which samples a person’s perspiration every hour to determine whether the wearer has been drinking.

The Mean Girls star was seen holding hands with the 39-year-old magician at Las Vegas nightclub Pure on Saturday before the pair left together at 5am.

Onlookers claim the pair then went back to Lohan’s hotel suite.

Lohan – who has been having an on/off relationship with British model Calum Best – has been wearing a special ankle bracelet to monitor her alcohol consumption since officially finishing a 45-day stint at Promises rehab clinic on Friday.

The 21-year-old actress entered the centre following her arrest for DUI (driving under the influence) after crashing her car on Sunset Boulevard.

Since leaving rehab, Lohan has been seen out partying wearing the bulky ankle device, which measures the alcohol content in the wearer’s sweat and relays the information to a monitoring centre.

The bracelet is worn 24 hours a day and a silent alarm signal is triggered if it is tampered with.

Illusionist Angel is currently involved in a bitter divorce battle with estranged wife Joanne Sarantakos, who has accused the illusionist of cheating on her with Diaz.

Reports have also linked Angel to Lohan’s former best friend Paris Hilton.

Lindsay Lohan is making headlines yet again, but this time it’s a matter of loyalty.

Lohan’s friend, DJ Samantha Ronson, is suing paparazzi agency Sunset Photo and gossip blogger Perez Hilton for suggesting she set her friend up and planted drugs in her car.

The website celebritybabylon.com operated by Sunset Photo and perezhilton.com both published photos and text suggesting that Ronson was the one behind the infamous incident in May when the actress was arrested under DUI charges. The websites suggest that it was Ronson’s cocaine police found in Lohan’s car and that she purposely stopped at a gas station so that paparazzi could photograph Lohan passed out in the backseat.

“The car was only down a quarter tank and yet Samantha stopped for gas. She has a side deal with a photo agency and they paid her to make the pit stop!” said a source published on Celebrity Babylon.

“There were three of them crammed into the Mercedes sports car and Samantha was the one that had the cocaine with her. Lindsay later questioned her about leaving it in the car for the cops to find and Samantha blew her off,” confessed another source from the agency.

Ronson’s suit is for libel, for “falsely, maliciously and intentionally” publishing known untrue information about her, making her look like a “disloyal, dishonest friend who ’sold out’ and ’set up’ her friend Lohan for personal financial gain” and exposing her to “hatred, contempt, ridicule and obloquy.”

As for Perez Hilton, Ronson accuses the blogger of reprinting the information by Celebrity Babylon with additions such as “With friends like Samantha, Lindsay doesn’t need any enemies.”

The price for Ronson’s damages is $20 million plus legal fees.

Bad girl, singer and actress Lindsay Lohan plans to take time out of her busy acting career to focus on recording and promoting her next album.

The star is convinced her last two albums, Speak and A Little More Personal, tanked because she was trying to balance the two professions at the same time. Not to mention a very hectic party lifestyle.

According to ContactMusic.com, Lohan says, “I start recording one in August. My last albums were amazing but this time I am going to really promote it and tour. “I want to do a Madonna-style show. I very much want it to be a dance record.”
