Lindsay Lohan Could Play Callista Gingrich on SNL

Could Lindsay Lohan be the next Tina Fey of lady politician lampooners? Sources tell Fox News that Lohan—who in recent years has spent more time in rehab than on stage or in front of real cameras—could play Callista Gingrich while hosting this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live. It could be a match made in heaven—Lohan was at one point considered a huge acting talent, and Callista’s Stepford-like image is certainly ripe for parody. On top of that, some of Saturday Night Live’s best material in recent years—especially Fey’s version of Sarah Palin—has been their political satire. Of course, as any sleep-deprived SNL writer can tell you, nothing is set in stone until much later in the week. Here’s hoping Lohan shows up sober and ready to act—with the right hair stylist, she could make a convincing Mrs. Gingrich.
