Lindsay Lohan got into a scuffle with a congressional staffer over cellphone pictures. She told cops he tried to choke her.

Another day, another Lindsay Lohan drama.

The “Mean Girls” actress mixed it up with a starstruck congressional staffer in her Manhattan hotel early Sunday — and now both of them are facing charges.

Cops say Lohan took Christian LaBella’s cellphone so she could delete pictures of her partying — and he got physical with her trying to get it back.

After Lohan called the cops, LaBella was initially charged with misdemeanor assault for Sunday’s blowup at the W Hotel Union Square.

But law enforcement sources said the assault rap will be dropped — and LaBella, 25, and Lohan, 26, will both be hit with low-level harassment violations.

It would be Lohan’s second legal scrape in as many weeks, coming on the heels of her arrest for leaving the scene of a minor car accident.

“She’s very shaken up,” Lohan’s mother, Dina, told the Daily News on Sunday afternoon as she comforted the troubled starlet.

“Thank God he didn’t have a weapon.”

Christian LaBella, 25, is charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment on Lindsay Lohan. The incident occurred at the W Hotel early Sunday morning.

Lohan met LaBella — who is from Valley Village, Calif., but has been working in Washington — while hanging out with friends at the trendy club 1Oak.

It’s unclear if she already knew LaBella, who works for Republican Rep. John Shimkus of Illinois and is the nephew of comedian Heather McDonald.

After the club closed, the actress and LaBella wound up back in her room at the W with other friends, including celebrity booker Claus Hjelmbak.

At about 6 a.m., she took LaBella’s cellphone and got upset after discovering pictures of herself, taken earlier in the evening, police sources said.

LaBella demanded she return the phone, but Lohan balked — and told cops he threw her down on the bed and scratched her.

She ran out of the 15th floor room and scurried down several flights of stairs, with Hjelmbak in tow.

When the “Mean Girls” star and her hunky pal began walking back up the stairs, they again encountered LaBella, sources said.

She claimed that he choked her from behind and threw her to the floor before Hjelmbak yanked him away, cops said. Lohan pulled the fire alarm for help as he fled, police said.

LaBella has a photo of himself with Paul Ryan as his Facebook profile picture.

Cops who responded spoke to Lohan and began looking for LaBella, who was trapped in the stairwell because the alarm had disabled the elevators.

As he exited the stairwell, police grabbed him. Lohan identified him as her attacker, and he was taken to the 13th Precinct stationhouse.

The assault charge was to be tossed hours later because Lohan refused medical attention and did not appear to be seriously hurt, sources said.

They filed harassment complaints against each other — but the charge is so minor they won’t even have to appear in court, sources said.

LaBella left the stationhouse without speaking to reporters and his family could not be reached for comment — but his boss isn’t too happy about being dragged into the mess.

“While no one from Congressman Shimkus’ office has been contacted by Mr. LaBella following his arrest, he has been an employee in the Congressman’s Washington office,” the pol confirmed in an email.

“Obviously, the Congressman does not condone his actions.”

LaBella’s Facebook page has photos of him mugging with two other prominent Republicans — vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan and erstwhile presidential candidate Herman Cain.

His aunt, a writer for Chelsea Handler’s E! show, posed as Sarah Palin to endorse him for president of his fraternity in a YouTube video.

LaBella, seen here with Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, reportedly works for Republican Congressman John Shimkus of Illinois.

On LaBella’s Facebook page, there are also photos of him at celebrity events and posing with reality TV’s Kardashian clan. It appears that he had a couple of bit parts as a child actor.

Lohan’s father, Michael, had not spoken to his daughter but had a message for her antagonist.

“Wait ’til I get this guy,” he said.

The attack was just the latest bit of drama for LiLo, who is still on probation from a necklace-theft case in California.

She was charged on Sept. 19 with leaving the scene of an accident after clipping a cook with a borrowed Porsche outside a Chelsea club.

And last Sunday she wound up in a Manhattan emergency room with a chest infection.

A Little More Personal (Raw) is the second studio album by American recording artist Lindsay Lohan. It was released in the United States on December 6, 2005, by Casablanca Records. Song-writers and producers on the album include Kara DioGuardi, Greg Wells, and Ben Moody. Lohan co-wrote six of the twelve songs on the album. The album was one of the high-selling albums from the record label in a few years, selling 550,000 in the United States. Despite this, it was less successful than Lohan’s previous album. In the United States, the album peaked at #20 on the Billboard 200, selling 82,000 copies in its first week. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA.

The album cover art features red lettering on Lohan’s back representing the Chinese character ? (Pinyin: sh?ng; Cantonese: Säng), which denotes “raw”; there are several other meanings depending on context, including “living” and “giving birth”.

Lindsay Lohan clearly spells out her ambition in the title to her second album, A Little More Personal (Raw) — she’s going to shed the glitzy trappings of her debut, Speak, and dig down deep in her heart, letting feelings flood onto the page. And, for better and worse, that’s exactly what she does, nowhere more explicitly than the opening track (and lead single), “Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)”, where she rails against her absentee father, whose transgressions and addictions have been gleefully chronicled by tabloids. It’s a bracing minor-key assault that’s honest to a fault, particularly since it’s not especially artful, yet it sets the tone for the rest of the album with its somber, self-conscious confession. A heavily stylized Strum und Drang hangs over the album, seeping into the purportedly lighter moments; for example, a clunky cover of Cheap Trick’s “I Want You to Want Me” that arrives after “Confessions of a Broken Heart” reads more as another plea to her dad than as celebration of an unrequited crush.

While this makes for an album that’s substantially more interesting and cohesive than the gaudy Speak, it doesn’t necessarily mean that A Little More Personal (Raw) is a successful record, either. There’s a large gap between teenage angst and teen pop and it’s hard, if not impossible, to find a bridge between the two: soul-searching doesn’t sound convincing when married either to dance-pop or to the dour anthemic pop/rock that Lindsay pursues here. Like her nemesis, Ashlee Simpson, Lohan has created a sour amalgam of slick ’80s revivalism, mall-punk, mainstream pop, and rock learned via the local Hot Topic. She skims the surface of each style and sound, and the calculation behind it all isn’t just transparent, but celebrated — beginning the title track with Lindsay muttering “I like when people talk in beginning of songs/I think that’s kinda rad” lays bare all the machinations behind the record. And while commercialized calculation may be a given with the teen pop territory, the end result sounds big, slick, and oddly depressing, particularly because Lohan seems obstinately determined to have no fun whatsoever.

This compulsion to sound serious and mature sank Ashlee’s I Am Me, but A Little More Personal (Raw) is by far a better record than that, because Lindsay, at least on this album, has one thing that Ashlee does not: conviction. She really means it, man, when she sings about her father, or when she sings about alienation and heartbreak, and this emotional investment when married to the duly professional, straight-ahead songcraft of her collaborators makes for interesting listening. Again, that’s not the same thing as fun, and the glossy gloom becomes a bit overbearing fairly quickly into the album, at which point it’s hard not to marvel at the fact that Lindsay is expending so much energy on confessing matters that are already part of the public record. At the same time, this knowledge helps Lindsay’s teenage angst seem more genuine than Ashlee’s on I Am Me, and even if A Little More Personal (Raw) is far from being totally successful, it is an intriguing mash-up of heart and commerce. And it does suggest one thing that Speak never did: Lindsay Lohan may have an artistic vision as a recording artist, which is indeed a huge step forward.

Various Artists – Herbie: Fully Loaded – Original Soundtrack (2005)

Herbie: Fully Loaded is the soundtrack album to the 2005 film of the same name, it was released on Summer 2005. It includes Lindsay Lohan’s third single, “First”, and remakes of classic songs by Hollywood Records artists including Aly & A.J., Caleigh Peters, Ingram Hill and Josh Kelley, and big names such as Lionel Richie and Mark McGrath.

Herbie: Fully Loaded collects covers of ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s songs by Disney artists and a handful of rock acts. Highlights include Rooney’s take on T. Rex’s “Metal Guru,” the Donnas’ “Roll on Down the Highway,” and Caleigh Peters’ “Fun, Fun, Fun.” Though the movie’s star, Lindsay Lohan, doesn’t contribute any new tracks, “First,” the opening track from her album Speak, also appears here. The soundtrack also includes a couple of other songs that aren’t covers: Pilot’s “Magic,” which shows just how gloriously over-the-top ’70s pop could be, and Lionel Richie’s “Hello.” The Blacksmoke Organisation’s two pop collages made from bits and pieces of the old Herbie movies, “Herbie (Fully Loaded Remix)” and “Herbie vs Nascar,” end up being album’s most interesting moments. Fans of Herbie Fully Loaded will probably enjoy having this soundtrack as a musical souvenir of the movie.

Identical twins Hallie and Annie were separated at birth when their parents divorced. After the two meet at summer camp, they begin plotting to reunite their estranged parents. IMDB

There is only one movie in history that I can name that my wife, my mother and my six-year-old daughter enjoyed equally. This is it.

This is an astonishly effective and pleasant remake of a very good film. It’s light, romantic, touching and downright funny. You cannot pour enough accolades on young Lindsay Lohan, who effortlessly plays both twins, and, if you listen closely, juggles four accents. (She changes her Brit accent when she plays her own American alter-ego pretending to be herself in England – if you saw the film, you know what I mean).

Natasha Richardson and Dennis Quaid with that big, goofy, infectious smile, give the film its romance and maturity, without stepping on the fun-filled kid’s plot. This is simple, easy-to-watch family entertainment.

There is also a great editing and effects element. You never once notice a split screen or cheap over-the-shoulder shot when both of Lohan’s characters are on-screen – its really quite astounding how seamless it is.

My daughter, after seeing this in the theater, quickly proclaimed this her favourite movie ever. We own the video, and I have watched it with her at least a dozen times without growing tired.

A perfect rental after a bad day, or when you want to have a family movie night. *** out of ****.
