Lindsay Lohan will stay on as artistic adviser at Emanuel Ungaro, President and Chief Executive Mounir Moufarrige told Reuters on Tuesday. Lohan and designer Estrella Arch’s collection of heart-shaped pasties, sequins, short hemlines and tight pants debuted at Paris Fashion Week to mixed…well, mainly negative reviews. In fact, Ungaro himself called the line a ‘disaster.’
But that doesn’t seem to matter to Moufarrige who said, “Yes (she’s staying on), she has a job to do,” putting an end to the rumors surrounding Lohan’s future.
Moufarrige did acknowledge the ruthless criticism in response to the show:
“I am sure we can do better in the collection to be honest but I think it was harsh…but it did sell well.”
He remarked that in the future, Ungaro’s collections must be tighter and more identity-driven.
