Lindsay Lohan SLAMS Her Father, Still Resisting Jail
Lindsay Lohan must surrender herself to jail on Tuesday to begin her 90-day sentence, one condition she agreed to in order to land celebrity attorney Robert Shapiro.
But Lindsay is still in denial about going to jail and hopes Shapiro will keep her out even though he told her he could not, sources tell TMZ.
Lindsay’s Twitter account has been quiet except for paid ads since Wednesday, when she entered a sober house. But Sunday night she resurfaced to rail against her father.
“I don’t want my ex-father anywhere near me no matter where I am. He is crazy and scares me,” she tweeted. “I don’t want Michael Lohan Sr. anywhere near me, no matter where I am. I am in a great place and he only brings negativity in my world.”
Regardless of the bad blood between Lindsay and Michael, there’s one thing they can agree on: Lindsay should appeal her jail sentence.
“I don’t know why Robert Shapiro did what he did, to be honest,” Michael told TMZ. “If he’s representing her — ethically, as an attorney, he should have filed an appeal.”
Michael still hopes to find an attorney to file an appeal for Lindsay on Monday.
