Does any one know what Sinead Lohan is doing now. She seems to have disappeared off the musical planet. She is such an enormous talent…..better than many contemporary artists…a real heart and soul singer.

fabulous….all the way thru….more than forty years of listening to this song…’been giving it too my children and their friends…it is always a great treat when bob weaves this song into his show…bob kicked in all the doors to popular music…this version opened a window

Her voice is as haunting as Dylan’s is in the original track from the Another Side album. I like the expression on her face when she sings the last three lines, and the last word, in particular.

im so sick of people arguing over what is good and what is bad

    you
    fucking
    retards.

everyone has their own idea of what is good so discussing that is a waste of time discussing new ideas or thoughts

I’m with you, we need this girl back…sometimes life gets in the way of our true passions and with Sinead on YouTube I think it’s the start to her return

Where does the competition come from? Everytime he sings, Dylan tries to sing freshly. And every cover is another universe. Live in all of them, if you can.

You are so right! There are a few exceptions imo, like Baez Boots of Spanish Leather; some by Judy Collins and Kelly Clarkson’s Make You Feel My Love and Bobby Darin is fantastic with I’ll be your baby tonight.

Thanks for this. I have loved this song since I first heard it when I was fourteen. This is a wonderful version and I will now have to hunt down more by her.

There are very few Dylan covers better than the Dylan original (prob Hendrix’s Watchtower). Who can sing rolling Stone, Tambourine Man, Foot of Pride, the whole of Blood on the Tracks/Desire, Jokerman, Mississippi, Hattie Carroll etc etc etc better than Big Bobby? This version is ok due to its haunting Irish feel but most are 2nd best by a long way

You should hear David Gray’s version of this song – don’t know if it’s on YouTube, but it’s worth looking out for
