I do not believe Lohan has a case.

In the start-up for the game there is a wall of text. Of that wall of text
something to note is the following:
“The content of this videogame is purely fictional, is not intended to
represent or depict any actual event, person, or entity, and any such
    similarities are purely coincidental.”

I’m NOT saying this makes them immune from any legal action towards using
likenesses, but when they don’t use real names and make it a very vague
representation of a person, it certainly does make it harder for legal
action to be filed against them.?

what the fuck. If anything, it’s a parody of her. It’s not her name, it’s
not her whole story. It’s a likeness. ” all characters in this game are
fictional. Any likeness to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental.”
    SO GET OVER IT!?

Does Lindsay Lohan have a leg to stand on? Absolutely not.

As has been quoted time and again in this comments section, there are
statements in the game’s terms of use & laws protecting Rockstar. Any good
lawyer will know this & will refuse to represent her.

Additionally, this seems more of a publicity stunt for the already-troubled
star. The term “clutching at straws” springs to mind.?

i think this will only end bad for Lohan.
no one in their right mind would back her in this pathetic excuse to try
and make money off the game.?

to all the idiots out there just remember, judges are old white males and
dont care shit about video games, but if they think that this “evil
corporation” (rockstar) is verbally assaulting a woman, then she may very
    well win the case ?

Unfortunately when you make a game as big as GTA V is you’re going to have
some coincidences. The fact that they are sueing however is simply a
pathetic way to make easy money.?

No way in hell is Lohan going to win this. She has nothing better to do
than sue a very successful game because she’s a shit actor and nobody is
hiring her. Also, this is a form of satire or parody and South Park does
this A LOT. And they don’t get sued because of the freedom of speech. ?

If rockstar loses then karma has finally came back to bite them in the ass
and they deserve it too. But really it is just an easy and pathetic way to
make some cash I don’t know whither I should say I hope they win or lose
but karma owes them a big ass whopping, alas may the best people win?

If this bitch is suing RockStar for something as dumb as this, how are the
South Park guys not getting sued by every celebrity in Hollywood??

Honestly, Lohan is just fishing for cash now, since legally, her case is
based on what could be viewed as coincidences. I mean, how could she sue
them for using her likeness, when there are approximately 3 other people
on planet earth who bear her likeness. Its like trying to sue another
company for using a logo similar to yours. Even if it may be a little
inspired off of yours, it is still an original logo, that the company your
    are suing owns.

The clothing line that Lohan owns, looks more of a combination of other
celebrity’s clothing, designer name clothing brands, and the average
hipster outfit you would find on the streets on LA. Trying to sue Rockstar
for using something similar is as shaky a grounds as her suing them for
average, run of the mill, C list celebrity likeness.

While the whole life story of the game character and Lohan mach up, she did
not wright a book about it and copy wright it. In no way has she legally
made her life story, hers and hers alone. As stupid as that may sound, in
the eyes of the court, using a story similar to her life story, is
    perfectly legal.

Her argument, while at first logically sound, has no legal ground to stand
on. She (or her lawyer) likely knows this is, and is just fishing for money
    and attention.?
