I want some ADHD I really can’t focus if my life depended on it. Like I’ve seen two year olds with a larger attention span.
I’ve taken 2 different types if adhd medicine. one, straterra made me all depressed and lazy. then i started taking ritalin and it has finally helped me do school! i’m so happy i have it. i don’t take it unless im going to school or doing homework.
@opossumlady01 yeah i have adhd and took many kinds of meds they are a depressent and make you very sick and sensative to smells so i dont take meds i learned to control it so i hope your bro can learn to control it too good luck

i have adhd and i do not take the meds unlike the other idiots with adhd that dont realise you can controll it easily and the meds ruin your life due to moste of them haveing depresents in them so if you have adhd be a fucking man and deal with it without the meds its not hard at all

my brother took ADHD medicine and it completely wiped out his personality.
he was pretty much like a zombie until we took him off of it.
then he got a different kind that i was taking for my ADD and it did nothing to me but make me nauseous.

My brother was f***ing TEN and the teachers gathered with my parents to suggest ADHD drugs just because they didn’t like his hyperactivity. It’s messed up. He’s older now and he is a perfectly normal person. I think there’s a point where ADHD is fake. People are not realizing that being hyper and having ADHD are DIFFERENT.

I was in fourth grade when i had to take my adhd meds; i started to refuse to swallow them though so my father started cutting them in half and slipping them into my pudding, that only lasted three years. Hahahahaa
I was about eight or nine when my therapist put me on ADHD medication. My parents, not having any information on the topic as the internet had yet to be really discovered as a place to research, just signed on the dotted line. If i had known what those pills would have done to me, i would have told my parents i didn’t want them. They really screwed me up. A young child with insomnia and depression caused by medicine that was supposed to help was a sad sight to see.

The way to truly determine if someone has ADHD or they’re faking it is if they actually hate having to take the drugs, but do it in order to function. I hate adderall with a passion but the fact that I can’t focus in classes and the fact I want an engineering degree are important enough to outweigh the weight loss and jitters.
I think those pills are just a way for people who are lazy to take the easy way out xD it’s taking advantage of the real people with the real cases of serious ADHD

I agree that not everyone needs ADHD pills, but my cousin went from a crazy guy who hit me with a base ball bat because I wouldn’t play with him, to a normal kid after he started taking the pills, so I think they can help, but only if you ACTULY have ADHD

I’m ADHD use to take Concerta for 5 years and it really messed with me. I would practically never eat any food so I stayed in the 60-70 pound range until 8th grade year, Then I was switched to Adderall for another 5 years and I was tired of having to take pills every morning 😛 sooo I secretly stopped taking them. Then after 3 months of not taking the meds I realized I didn’t act like some crazy fool so I told my mom I was done. It makes me feel free and independent not having to lean on drugs
An 8 year old boy who wants to be outside in the mud instead of doing math doesn’t have a disease, unless being an 8 year old boy is one. Not saying it doesn’t exist, just that probably like 12 people actually have ADHD.
