Lindsay Lohan handcuffed, taken to jail at Century Regional Detention Facility Lynwood

Lindsay Lohan turned herself in to Judge Marsha Revel at Beverly Hills Municipal Court, wherein she was handcuffed, and taken to jail at 9:03am on July 20, 2010. UPDATED: Actress Lindsay Lohan who earlier started serving her jail sentence is expected to be released from a Lynwood jail on Aug 2nd, serving only 14 days of her 90-day sentence, according to a Sheriff’s Department booking document. Until now, Sheriff’s Department officials have said they were not sure how many days Lohan would spend behind bars. Even though the judge called for 90 days, overcrowding in the jail typically means that inmates only serve 25% of their sentences, sometimes less. As a DA in L.A. every time I heard the name Judge Revel it was always bad. “Marsha the Monster” or “Revel the Rotten”. She had an ego as big as her body odor. Judges are suppose to be impartial, but Revel wore her prejudices on her sleeve. As one of her own bailiffs said: “Revel is a? sick heartless bitch.” and that’s coming from someone who I never heard say a bad word about anyone..but then again, Marsha Revel is not anyone – she not only carried her gavel to work, but a broom to ride.

we need some changes in the law system its to old and out dated….certain crimes are not treated properly, jail doesnt solve everything, it just pisses them off? more, why not work on preventing the crimes…by offering an alcoholic a taxi voucher for a fee every month “an alcoholic tax”.the only damage they are doing is to themselves if its done this way, eventually all addicts quit…once they get to the point of physical harm, and someone tells them they are going to die soon, they will stop
