   mmhhh yeah, guess you’re right. didn’t think about the time and if it would fit and I’m not that much into that Lindsday-and-Sam-stuff so I actually didn’t know when they have been (or are still) a couple.

   i doubt it. b/c Sam didn’t start gaining fame till the paparazzi made a big deal of her and Lindsay in early 08. and by then Carmen was long gone.
   but they began to hang out in late 2005…(which was during the shooting of S3…meaning the script was already written)
   all in all…i think it was a coincidence.

   i saw an interview with sam and she reminded me al lot of Shane in L-Word: the style, the voice, the way she speaks…
   I even woundered if Chaiken was inspired by Sam (L.A, DJ …. and switched the DJ thing to carmen so that it would not be too obvious)
