actually not really its just that cagalli knew that her and thrun wouldn’t wrk cuz she was head of orb and athur nwanted to fight so before athrun went off into space he hugged cagalli showing her that he still loves her and cagalli before that was being stupid and told meyrin to take care of HER wthrun for HEr
