American actress Lindsay Lohan is facing three months behind bars after she violated her 3-year-long probation on a drink driving charge. In 2007 the actress pleaded guilty to misdemeanour drug charges and three driving charges and spent 84 minutes in prison before her release. A judge in California said Lohan had failed to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes. The actress burst into tears as the verdict was announced. The surrender date is July 20, 2010.

I could see how miscommunication could have happened. I’ll get shit for this but celebrities have harder times planning things since roles are unexpected. Sounds like she talked to them and the judge was just trying to mantain her name.

i would cry too because in jail you can’t even take a bath without someone watching you but i do think she needed to go to jail because the normal person would already be in jail and she needed to know that this is not a joke and that you can not break the law and get away with it just because you have money.
