Original Sountrack for the 2003’s movie hit, features songs from a number of today’s hottest new artists, including spunky Canadian quartet Lillix, who covered the Romantics’ “What I Like About You”; Diffuser, whose “I Wonder” also appears on their highly anticipated upcoming album “Making The Grade”. A Simple Plan’s remake of the Turtles’ “Happy Together” and Bowling For Soup’s genius rendition of Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time” are among the highlights on Hollywood Records’ “Freaky Friday” soundtrack. Also included “Freaky Friday” star Lindsay Lohan, who makes her recording debut with the bouncy pop rock track “Ultimate”. The album was called a “mixed bag” by allmusic, and was certified Gold and sold over 700,000 to date.
