Lohan’s most notable role in 2010, aside from ”Machete” of course, is as a jail bird (or soon to be jail bird, again). Where did she go wrong? Let’s take a look, shall we? If you really want to dig into Lohan’s troubles, go back to 2007, when she got not one, but two DUIs. Her first DUI came in May 2007, when Beverly Hills police arrested her after she lost control of her Mercedes and struck a curb. Police were quoted as saying that “additional contraband” was found in Lohan’s vehicle – cocaine. She was arrested yet again for driving under the influence in July of 2007, shortly after finishing a stint in rehab for alcoholism. Santa Monica police reportedly found a “small amount” of cocaine in her pocket – and back to rehab she went. In August of 2007, Lohan issued a statement saying she was “addicted to alcohol and drugs.” Flash forward to May of 2010. Lindsay Lohan’s failure to appear at a mandatory DUI hearing in Beverly Hills prompted a judge to issue a bench warrant for her arrest. Where was Lindsay? Partying it up at the Cannes Film Festival in France. The bench warrant was lifted when Lindsay’s lawyer posted bail – and back to the US she flew.
