James Deen & Nolan Funk are gorgeous?
Ending pretty suck!?
The Canyons was good but not great. It felt like Lindsay Lohan was playing
herself as Tara, the Hollywood burn out. Nolan Funks Ryan was no romantic
hero by any means. Just another degraded wannabe who got played to
perfection. James Deen was the stand out performance that carried the film.
Christian was pure sociopath who elevated control freakery to an artform be
it with his cheating girlfriend, Tara or his love rival, Ryan. In their
attempts to escape him, Christians always one step ahead in keeping his
hold over them both and killing that woman for spreading that viscious lie
about him. My favourite moment was that infamous “Bam” speech.?
The ending sucked !
Lindsay’s better than this.
And why in all of her movies nowadays is she either naked or kissing
something like is she a sex object !? No your WAY better than this Lindsay !

What I took away from this movie is that all girls from California are
spoiled little brats who couldn’t handle the real world!! I could hardly
finish it they’re all so unbearable if it weren’t for James I’d give it 3

Ryan is fine and I enjoyed the movie ?
Barely started to get good/intense 10 minutes before the end -___- & the
end was horrible, completely left you hanging. But damn how fucking scary
it would be to be Tara, ughh fuck that! ?
I feel like Cynthia could’ve saved Tara a lot of pain just by asking her
“Hey, did you get coffee with some guy this morning?”?
So they cut all the Lohan shots. Like when she sits up topless, and the
shower? Sigh. Nice pair on the other one whose name escapes me atm.?
This movie was actually an experimental masterpiece in my opinion. The idea
of Paul Schrader and Brett Easton Ellis collaborating on a film is what
this movie perfectly is. I thought it was interesting how Schrader’s goal
was to show the decay of cinema in present day times and the corruption of
technology, as well as some of the overall ideas of Los Angeles. The reason
for the negative reviews was most likely due to misconception of the film’s
goal and of course the rumors about Lindsay Lohan’s acting which was great
for her character. Honestly, it was a good indie movie and I enjoyed it.
