2009 was a tumultuous year for Lindsay Lohan. Her father released multiple family private phone recordings about her drug and emotional problems, her foray into fashion design was deemed a disaster by Ungaro himself and her provocative photo shoots were met mostly with laughter. How does Lindsay plan to turn her act around in 2010?

“To answer everybody’s question…My new years resolution is to stop letting the lucky few that have my heart, try2constantly tear me down,” she tweeted in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Then: “2010 is about moving forward, not backwards. Leaving the bad (people, habbits, and negative energy behind) time to make changes-right!?!? :)”

The bad may include Michael Lohan, who was just accused of kicking his ex in the vagina and was arrested earlier in the month for violating a restraining order.

Lindsay is having a “no drama” New Year’s weekend in St. Barth, where she tweeted a picture of herself in a bikini on Thursday.
